Ragnar Jansson

Ragnar is our funny guy. He is so funny you would think he is the one from Gothenburg. But he is really a cruiser from the darkest woods of Sweden with not one but two precious old americans in the garage.

His films are just as fun thanks to the subtle humour and ingenious casting that has come to be his trademark. With an often quiet and depicting feel, he is a master at finding a perfect balance between melancholy and humour, and getting the best out of his (often peculiar) characters.

And with a thought through art direction and an immense amount of detail it takes several viewings to notice everything that goes on.

And no, he is not Finnish – he is just big in Finland.
